Air Force Seeks Bush’s Approval for Space Weapons Programs

So, did Al Quaeda recently accomplish a space launch, or are we finally at war with Russia? Did I miss something?

I thought the main accomplishment of the Cold War-era arms race was the bankruptcy of the Soviet state. Now, apparently, it will finally get its way with the good ol’ USA.
