By accident, I just clicked on the link in Gmail that takes you to your oldest message, and holy crap. I had no idea I had been on Gmail that long. I keep thinking of it as a brand-new cool thing, but the oldest message in my inbox is from June 30, 2004. In Internet years, that’s almost an eon. But Gmail is still cool. Thank you, Google, for keeping it awesome.

This is the first Halloween that I have ever planned a costume, collected the pieces, and completed preparations before the day of the scary event. I’m stoked. I’ll probably wear the costume every day from now until Halloween. Tomorrow is Derek’s party, which should be awesome. Somebody remind me to bring two cameras and extra film.
