Almost April

The first green things I saw outside my window, today, were trees. It wasn’t the still-struggling buds that first caught my attention, but the rich, mossy trunks stood out against the dripping red brick of an apartment building across the street. The humidity and rain seem to have awakened a variety of lichens, and the gray sky only serves to amplify the way they transform whatever they grow on.

Otherwise, I would be mad. I want to ride my motorcycle, today.

Two Screaming Asian Boys

This might be my favorite CD so far this year. Seriously. It sounds like the hit song “Puberty Love” being played on the radio by Jefferson.

Okay, not seriously. This music kind of scares me. Which reminds me, for some reason I don’t have Explosive Bear on my iPod, yet. I should take care of that.
