This is amazing.

amazing

I thought The Motorcycle Diaries was a good movie, and I know the CIA fucked up a lot of South America by fighting Communism and waging the War on Drugs, and that sucks, and the embargo against Cuba doesn’t make a lot of sense in a post-Cold War era, but seriously, people. Do a little reading before you put on a T-shirt. I don’t know that I would ever wear this pin, which I’m pretty sure will be trendy in no time, but I think it makes an excellent point.

  1. hahaha, those are incredible…i really liked Motorcycle Diaries too, and after watching it, i read some more about che because i really didn’t know a lot about him other than what the movie said…its pretty amazing how pop culture has taken over his image…i think he had some good ideas, but people apparently don’t realize that he didn’t try to achieve his goals through peace and understanding, he was a revolutionary who tried to overthrow the system…i mean, how many people do you see walking around with trendy Castro shirts?

  2. that is awesome!! i’m sure you saw this

  3. Haha. Yeah, it gets better and better.

  4. The more I think about this, the more I realize that the classic Che image is really just a striking image, and a great logo. I wouldn’t associate all of the political garbage with the logo by default any more than I’d think that someone was a communist or supporter of the Soviet Union if they were wearing hammer and sickle logos. Or think that they’re a wrestling fan if they’re wearing old Shepard Fairey stuff showing Andre.
